Rapper 2 Chainz shares video of adorable mother-son dance at his wedding
2 Chainz made sure to dance with his mom during his wedding, proving that he got his smooth moves from her.
The "Proud" rapper got married to his longtime girlfriend Kesha Ward at the Versace Mansion in Miami last Saturday, and before the night ended, he made sure to treat his mom to a sweet mother-and-son dance. Unlike the usual slow dancing that happens at weddings, the rapper chose to dance to an R&B classic, "Before I Let Go" by Franke Beverly and Maze.
Dressed in an all-white suit, Chainz contrasted his mother who wore an all-black ensemble. The two of them were radiating with pure joy as they danced beside one another, as the onlookers amusingly watched them go.
After giving his mom a dance, it was his wife's turn. Dressed in a 20's-inspired dress and headband, Kesha happily danced with her husband on the first night they were bound as a married couple.
The luxurious wedding party at the famous Versace Mansion was star-studded, including guests like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats, Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka'oire, and of course, 2 Chainz' best man Lil Wayne among many others.
Although Chainz, known as Tauheed Epps in real life, and his wife Kesha Ward have been together for years, it is only now that they've decided to get married. The couple's three children, Harmony, Heaven, and Halo, dressed in matching red outfits for their parents' wedding ceremony.
Throughout the day, 2 Chainz gave his fans a preview of their wedding preparations, such as when he was having his hair braided, showing off his son's get up, and even the arrival of an exotic white tiger to the hotel, which was once the home of Gianni Versace.
The rapper famously asked for Ward's hand in marriage on the red carpet of this year's MET Gala, making it such an unforgettable night for the two of them. Of course, with a proposal that grand, their extravagant Versace Mansion wedding is what anyone would expect from Chainz and nothing less.
