Michelle Obama hugs a crying Kanye West in new animated music video
Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, released his latest song "Feels Like Summer" and the video features cameos of animated version of several celebrities.
The music video, uploaded to YouTube via Glover’s official account, featured the animated version of Kanye West wearing "Make America Great Again Cap" and crying, while Michelle Obama hugs him and offers consolation.
By showing West and Obama in the video, Glover is jibing at the rap artist’s controversial tweet in support of the US President Donald Trump.
Kanye made disturbing comments about slavery and then wearing the "MAGA" cap. He also called Trump his “brother” and implied that “slavery was a choice.”

In the video, co-directed by Glover, West becomes noticeably calmer after receiving a hug from the former First Lady of the United States.
The video shows Glover walking through a neighborhood filled with other music artists.
Besides the cameo from West and Obama, famous names including Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Azealia Banks, Drake, Future, A$AP Rocky, Solange, and The Weeknd.
According to Fam Rothstein, the music supervisor on Glover’s hit show, “Atlanta,” the video was illustrated by Justin Richburg.
He praised Richburg by stating, “His mind is one of a kind and we worked hard on making this right.”
Glover’s music video also contains a reference to the remarks Nicki Minaj made earlier this month about the frustration she felt by the success of Travis Scott’s album compared to hers.
The music video is the third single from Glover following his previous successes of “Summertime Magic” and “This Is America.”
Kanye West has made a string of major headlines in recent times, not all of which are quite desirable. Back in June, he opened up about his mental condition and claiming it to be a "superpower."
