LeBron James' 3-year-old daughter stuns in crown and star-printed outfit in his new ad campaign
If you need any more proof of why LeBron James is called the king, here it is. The NBA superstar crowned his three-year-old daughter queen for a new ad campaign, and the image is heartwarming.
Zhuri James is an absolute daddy’s girl, and the feeling is mutual too because LeBron adores his baby girl. He recently unveiled a new line of women’s basketball sneakers and credited Zhuri as one of his sources of inspiration.
The toddler featured in an ad campaign for the new shoe line, and she looked every inch like royalty. She wore a royal blue gown dotted with tiny gold stars, and her top-knot styled hair was decorated with a gold crown.
LeBron’s new shoe line, HFR x LeBron 16, is the result of his collaboration with Harlem Fashion Row (HFR) and Nike. The NBA MVP unveiled his latest project at the Harlem’s Fashion Row Awards in New York on Tuesday and revealed there was more to the collection than fashion or style.
The HFR x LeBron 16 was created to make a statement. Not only were they designed by three African-American women, but they were also inspired by the lives of 16 black women.
The Lakers Small forward disclosed that his wife, daughter, mom, and other influential black women gave him the fuel he needed to design the footwear.
He said:
“As someone who has a platform, because of what I do, I thought it was important to lend that platform to a group of people that I believe are under-recognized. Being the son, husband, and father of strong African American women, I felt like this was something I wanted to do for them and for all the strong women out there who are succeeding despite what might be stacked against them.”
Other women featured in the campaign include Serena Williams, Simone Biles, Cari Champion, and Bozoma Saint-John.
LeBron, 33, was also honored with an “Icon 360 Award” which he accepted with Zhuri in hand. The Award recognizes individuals who have been outstanding with their style and in philanthropy.
