Michelle Obama stuns in red outfit while dining with a friend at Italian restaurant
Michelle Obama delights diners of an Italian restaurant where she spent three hours with her friends and even posed for a photo with the chef.
She may no longer be the First Lady but Michelle Obama still manages to make headlines, even when she’s merely dining in an Italian restaurant with her friends.
Last weekend, Mrs. Obama graced the Instagram page of San Lorenzo Ristorante after dining there with a group of friends. Michelle posed next to the Tuscan eatery’s chef Massimo Fabri in a photo the restaurant posted. She was dressed in red and clearly delighted the restaurant’s staff who took pleasure in serving her that night as indicated in their post’s caption.
“It was a true pleasure for Chef Massimo Fabbri and the culinary team of San Lorenzo to serve dinner to former First Lady Michelle Obama and her friends tonight! #FLOTUS #MichelleObama #MassimoFabbri #SanLorenzoDC #SaturdayNight #DC #ItalianFood”
According to the Washington Post, the former first lady was seated inside a private dining area and was joined by some friends. There was also another large party in the same room who instantly recognized her. The entire restaurant even applauded when she left the place after dining for three hours.

Just a few days earlier, Michelle also made headlines when she was spotted with “The Boss” Bruce Springsteen after attending his show in Broadway. The 54-year-old was seen leaving the Walter Kerr Theater along with the “Born In The USA” singer. The two celebrities’ friendship goes way back. Bruce publicly supported the Obamas when he joined them during their campaign trail in 2008. He also played at Barrack Obama’s inauguration and endorsed him again during his 2012 presidential bid.

Michelle’s appearance with the singer was also met with a little controversy surrounding her outfit. She was wearing a printed buttoned up, long-sleeved shirt and matching pants with a pair of square-heeled shoes. Fans weren’t impressed with her choice which according to some resembled pajamas. Others also described her in contrast to a stylish Melania Trump.
