Catherine Zeta-Jones attended New York Fashion Week with her 15-year-old daughter, Carys.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and her 15-year-old daughter, Carys Douglas were a feature at the front row of the Michael Kors fashion show on September 12, 2018.

The mother and daughter duo were photographed looking dazzling, and the photos were shared on People.com's Instagram account.

Zeta-Jones explained that last year had been her daughter's first foray into the Fashion Week but that she had been asking to "go along" since she was a toddler.

"Last year was her first fashion show here at Michael's show, but she's been asking me since she was like two years old."

Carys expressed her enthusiasm at being at the show and displayed a sense of style to match her mother's.

Carys has revealed that she has a passion for design and fashion, but her mother explained that she has many creative interests and outlets - including acting, singing, and songwriting.

THE STYLISH DUO DAZZLED OFF THE RUNWAY

The two were dressed up to the 9's and as elegant as any of the models strutting down the runway.

Zeta-Jones wore a form-fitting floral printed elegant midi dress, with bold hoop earrings and strappy high heels.

Carys wore a sweet black knot crop top, and a daring pair of camouflage patterned pants with a wide gold fabric insert on the side. She carried a brown clutch and wore her beautiful brown hair styled in soft waves and falling past her shoulders.

THE GIRL FROM WALES WHO BECAME A MOVIE STAR

Zeta-Jones, 48, was born in Wales and began dancing when she was 4-years-old when her mother enrolled her in the Hazel Johnson School of Dance.

When she was nine she won the role of one of the orphan girls in a West End production of the musical Annie, and her focus shifted to acting.

In 1998 Zeta-Jones moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career and in that same year, she met Michael Douglas, 25 years her senior.

At first, she was reluctant to date him because of his reputation as a womanizer. but on the 31st of December 1999, they became engaged. They married in 2000 and share two children: Dylan, 18, and Carys, 15.

In a related story, Zeta-Jones' 18-year-old son, Dylan has moved out of the family home and into his dorm at the prestigious Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
