Barbara Bush is a former First Daughter, and a First Grandaughter too - the child of a family that has spawned two American Presidents: George Bush, and George W.Bush.

Barbara, 36, is a president herself, of Global Health Corps, a non-profit organization that supports the emergence of health leaders all over the world.

When Barbara decided to marry wedding screenwriter and actor Craig Coyne, she was determined it would be a secret and intimate affair, and the first photos of the event were posted on Instagram/jennabhager by her fraternal twin, Jenna Bush Hager on October 09, 2018.

A BEAUTIFUL GOWN FOR AN INTIMATE WEDDING

“The dress design process was not long as the wedding plans happened rather quickly.”

Vera Wang, People.com, October 8, 2018.

For her October 7 wedding at her family vacation home in home in Kennebunkport, Maine, Barbara had star designer Vera Wang create a delicate romantic gown with a cowl neckline and dainty spaghetti straps that flowed over her slim figure.

The dress was made from a light silk crepe fabric and cut on the bias, for fluidity and a perfect fit. Over it, Barbara wore a sheer Italian silk cape that added a touch of ethereal beauty to the dress.

A SMALL INTIMATE CEREMONY OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN

Only 20 family members attended the romantic ceremony overlooking the ocean.

Former president George Bush walked Barbara down the aisle and she and Coyne exchanged their vows in front of their immediate family.

Barbara's matron of honor was her sister Jenna, and flower girls were her nieces Margaret, 5, and Poppy, 3, as well as Coyne’s niece, Emma, 5.

The photographs of this romantic and emotional wedding are setting a new standard for elegant simplicity.
