Mary J Blige, 47, flaunts her enviable body in off shoulder emerald dress in recent photo

Strong woman! Mary J. Blige has been through hell and back since 2016, but the R&B singer is not letting that stop her from showing up and looking good.

Blige, 47, took to Instagram to share a look that would make anyone green with envy. She rocked an emerald Cushnie off-the-shoulder dress. The two-piece featured net overlay on the lower bodice and fit Blige’s toned curves perfectly.

The elegant gown was Blige’s choice as she stepped out for the Tiffany & Co.’s “Tiffany Blue Book Collection” event on October 9 at Studio 525 in New York City.

Other celebrities at the event include Kim Kardashian, Zoë Kravitz, and Priyanka Chopra, who each showed up in their impressive Tiffany & Co. diamonds.

Fans of the “Family Affair” singer took to the comments section to gush over her ensemble, which included a dangling pair of emerald earrings:

It’s good to see Blige out and about, and looking good while at it. The Grammy Winner has had a rough couple of years since her nasty divorce battle that played out in public from 2016.

During a 2017 radio show appearance, Blige opened up about the last straw that broke the camel’s back, and why she eventually filed for divorce from her ex-husband and manager, Martin 'Kendu' Isaacs:

“I can sense that I’m not what you want any more,” Blige said, referring to the “overwhelming disrespect” she experienced.

“You start to realize that this man doesn’t want you and he’s just gone all the time and you’re by yourself in the relationship.”

Blige accused Isaacs of cheating on her with her one-time protégé, the singer Starshell.

PUBLIC DRAMA

The “Be Without You” hitmaker found herself in the middle of divorce proceedings that took a massive chunk of her finances, thanks to Isaacs’ consistent demand for spousal support.

At some point, he asked for as much as $130,000 per month in spousal support and claimed he'd be “destitute” without the ongoing financial flow from his former wife.

Finally, earlier this year in March, it was reported that Blige finally settled out of court with her husband of 12 years. The terms of the settlement were not made public, but the decision implied that the bitter exes would not need to go to trial.

Since then, Blige has been living it up on one red carpet after the other with her banging body and statement pieces.

MOVING ON

Last month, the R&B queen showed up at the New York Fashion Week in a dazzling white gown and fur wrap. She added a fierce feel to her ensemble with a blond haircut that turned heads and chose dangling earrings to go.

In August, Blige was also spotted at the Black Girls Rock Event where she received the "Star Power" Award.
