Gabrielle Union shares heart-melting pic of husband Dwyane Wade holding newborn daughter
Gabrielle Union shares a sweet glimpse of Dwyane Wade tending to their newborn proving why their baby is "daddy's girl."
Just days after her first child is born, Gabrielle Union already knows her daughter will be daddy’s girl. A glimpse of her husband Dwyane Wade feeding a bottle to their newborn is all she had to see to arrive at that conclusion.
Gabrielle and Dwyane welcomed their little bundle of joy on Thursday after years of trying to conceive. Their “miracle baby” whose name they have yet to reveal was born via surrogate. Gabrielle suffered multiple miscarriages and failed IVF attempts in the past. This prompted the couple to turn to surrogacy.
After the birth of their first child, the couple shared identical announcements on their social media accounts. The post featured three photos of the family at the hospital accompanied by a message introduced by lyrics from the song, “Lovely Day.” Following the lyrics, they wrote,
“We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that, our miracle baby, arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl!’
Two days later, Gabrielle captured a sweet moment between her daughter and husband. A shirtless Dwyane had his back to the camera while feeding his baby girl a bottle of milk. He sat in a white chair while looking straight at his daughter and holding the bottle for her.
“Daddy’s girl,” Gabrielle wrote in her caption. Something tells us she doesn’t mind that fact at all.
Their baby is Dwyane’s first daughter after having three sons from previous relationships. His two sons, Zaire, 16, and Zion, 11 are from his previous marriage to Siovaughn Funches. He also has a third son, Xavier, with friend Aja Metoyer, born in 2013 while he and Gabrielle were on a break.
Gabrielle previously admitted she didn’t want to have children. However, after becoming a stepmom to Dwyane’s boys, she changed her mind. Now that she’s a mother herself, there’s no doubt she’s feeling completely fulfilled.
