Diddy's 3 other exes share touching tribute to Kim Porter, promising to take care of her kids
Almost a week after the death of Kim Porter, condolences and tributes are still pouring in. Recently, Diddy’s three other ex-girlfriends joined the list with emotional messages of their own.
Before getting together with the late Porter, Sean “Diddy” Combs was in a relationship with Misa Hylton-Brim, with whom he shares his oldest son, Justin. Taking to Instagram, Hylton-Brim poured out her heart in a tribute to the late actress/model.
Alongside a series of images featuring Porter and their kids, she wrote:
“For the last 20 years we have raised our children together, my mind cannot begin to wrap around the fact that you are not going to be here.”
HAPPIER TIMES
Hylton-Brim also thanked the deceased for being a second mother to her son, Justin, and recalled a discussion with Porter:
“Not that long ago we had a dope conversation about the kids and how proud we were of them all. We spoke about their futures and how we could come together to support them in business. That was a very special conversation.”
Justin’s mother confessed she’ll miss her and Porter’s inside jokes and the “unspoken understanding” they share.
“I promise to love and protect Quincy, Chris, D’lila and Jessie. I will always be here for them. Rest in Power Beautiful Queen,” she finished.
Diddy is still beside himself. He was very emotional, but grateful how many of his friends showed up to honor Kim.
PRAYERS & LOVE
Sarah Chapman, the mother of Diddy’s daughter, Chance, also chimed in with a tribute post of her own.
“A mother’s love...nothing like it. Rest in paradise Kim, and know your kids are covered in prayer and love,” said Chapman, adding:
“Your light will always shine thru your children and the way they all love each other is a blessing beyond words.”
SUPPORT FROM CASSIE
Singer, Cassie Ventura, who is Diddy’s most recent Ex, eulogized Porter in a thoughtful Instagram post some hours ago. Cassie called Porter an “amazing mother” who is now “the most beautiful angel.” She also referred to Diddy as the “best father” and reached out to the entire Combs and Porter clan, assuring them of her love and support.
“Sending so much love and my condolences to the Porter and Combs families. I love you @quincy, @kingcombs, Jessie, D’Lila, Chance, @princejdc and @diddy. Puff you are already the best father. I know you will be amazing. Love you too @callmepumpkin, @misahylton, Mama Combs & Grandpa Jake!! You all always have my love and support!!”
WORDS OF PAIN
The condolences come after Diddy finally broke his silence over Porter’s death in a series of Instagram posts. Most of them were video clips from their time together, and the Hip-Hop mogul’s caption revealed a heartbroken man.
“For the last three days, I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much,” confessed Diddy.
He also found a way to describe their relationship. Although the two dated on and off for 13 years and finally separated in 2007, Diddy stated:
“We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER [expletive]!! And I miss you so much.”
A BEFITTING MEMORIAL
On Sunday, the “Bad Boy Entertainment” boss held a private memorial for Porter at his Bel-Air home. The entire family was in attendance, including celebrities like Pharrell Williams and Mary J. Blige.
A source revealed: "Diddy is still beside himself. He was very emotional, but grateful how many of his friends showed up to honor Kim.”
PORTER'S LEGACY
During her lifetime, Porter raised four children with Diddy- Quincy Brown, her son from a previous relationship, Christian Combs, and twin girls, Jessie, and D’Lila Combs.
The former runway star, aged 47, was found dead at her home last Thursday and is scheduled to be buried this Saturday.
