Of course, the first thing you need is a fresh turkey. The components will base on the size of the bird, but for reference, an 18-pound turkey will require one unsliced loaf of bread, one stick of unsalted butter, two tablespoons of salt, two teaspoons of black pepper, and a seasoning mix, which is optional. You will also need a butcher’s twine and a roasting pan.
Start by setting up the oven and pre-heating it to 425 ° Fahrenheit.
