Fantasia Barrino grabs attention as she bares her back in red outfit while promoting Christmas album
Fantasia Barrino knows exactly how to encourage her followers to buy her albums. The influential singer looks stunning in a recent pic shared to Instagram, as she flaunts her curves, back and sides profile on a bright red dress.
The Grammy Award winner is back to promoting her first holiday album “Christmas After Midnight,” and on Monday, Barrino took Instagram to remind her fans and followers that they can acquire the record right in time for the holidays.
Fantasia left fans stunned wearing a tight red dress with a cutout in the back and the sides, which hugged her figure in all the right places as she held the album in her hands. She completed the look with her hair swiped to the side and silver earrings.
“Christmas Album #mines #RockSoul #funk #jazz #soul #soul blues Go Get Yours For The Holiday,” Barrino captioned the pic.
Fans filled her comment section with praises about her look and her music. One user wrote “Side profile. My lord…hard work pays off,” another added, “Oh yes! Can’t wait to get mine! I know it’s on point sis,” and a third one said “Tasia you’re gorgeous! I got the album, put me right in the holiday spirit. Thank you!”
MORE ABOUT THE ALBUM
The album, released via Concord Records on October 6, 2017, includes 12 tracks produced by Ron Fair, who has worked with artists like Christina Aguilera and The Black Eyed Peas. Some of Fantasia’s favorite songs like “This Christmas,” “Silent Night,” and “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” are featured.
“I’m so excited for my first Christmas album,” said the 34-year-old performer on a press release. And continued to say who was the inspiration behind her work:
“My Grandmother Addie Collins’ birthday was on Christmas Day. I will never forget how she would put up the prettiest Christmas trees and lights. But more importantly, I’ll never forget the impact she had on me and everyone else around her this time of year. This album is dedicated to her. So as she would always say, ‘Keep giving the Gift of Giving!’”
A BIT OF HER BACKGROUND
Fantasia first came into the music scene in 2004, when she became the winner of the third season of “American Idol.” Her debut album “Free Yourself,” released later that same year, went platinum, proving the power of her soulful voice.
People usually compare her with some of the best old-school R&B singers like Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, and even Aretha Franklin. Barrino had the honor of singing at Franklin’s funeral earlier this year.
Barrino has also appeared on Broadway, released a memoir book and made a movie. On top of that, she’s also a loving mother and wife.
