Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx caught exchanging smiles and giggles during a rare public outing

Jamie Foxx and Kate Holmes were caught exchanging laughs as they walked the streets of New Orleans.

The extremely private couple is getting less and less elusive of cameras as their relationship grows.

The Daily Mail reports that on December 2, Holmes, 39, could be seen giggling as her beau Foxx amused her while the two walked side by side.

Foxx, 50, wore a black long sleeve sweater above matching pants and white sneakers. Holmes was donned in a simple black top above denim pants. She wore a red wrap at her chest to counter the night air.

Holmes, wearing black flats, looked smitten as she strolled. The two were both showing teeth throughout the rare public outing.

Although the two have been dating for five years, they still tend to keep their relationship under wraps.

A source commented:

"Kate and Jamie are still careful about being photographed together. Everyone knows they are dating, but they still want to keep it private."

The pair were first spotted looking romantic in October 2013. According to Us, they kept things secret by going as far as to wear disguises to meet up with each other in hotels.

In December 2015, Holmes joined celebrities like Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson to give the "Django Unchained" actor a surprise 48th birthday bash at Le Bilboquet.

The following August, Holmes cheered on Foxx during a Barbar Streisand concert. And later that year, they traveled together to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for Holmes' 38th birthday.

In 2017, the "The Giver" actress flew over to Paris to be with Foxx as he filmed the new "Robin Hood" movies. Then in January 2018, the two sat side by side and shared laughs at the Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammys Gala.

Later on, in July the media caught them making out during a Malibu trip. Totally ignoring the cameras, the couple got intimate as they played volleyball on the beach and wrestled in the sand.

Holmes was previously married to actor Tom Cruise whom she shares a child, 12-year-old Zuri with. We wish the best for Foxx and the two girls in his life and admire their private intentions regarding the relationship.
