"Both mother and son are doing well."
This is the pair's second child after having their first, Izzy, in 2016. A PEOPLE insider revealed that they fully intended to get pregnant again.
"They wished for a younger sibling for their daughter. They live a pretty low-key life. They are all about family. Paige is very close to Eddie's kids."
Murphy's kids include five children with his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy. They are Bria, 28, Miles Mitchell, 25, Shayne Audra, 23, Zola Ivy, 18, and Bella Zahra, 16.
He shares his oldest son Eric, 29, with Paulette McNeely, son Christian, 28, with Tamara Hood, and daughter Angel, 11, with Mel B, former Spice Girl.
Murphy met Butcher while filming 2006's "Big Momma's House 2." However, the two only began to date in 2012. They announced their second pregnancy just 4 months ago in August.
Around that time, the Australian model went out with her bump on display. Later, her actor and comedian partner was spotted with her as the bump peeked through a loose Adidas sweatshirt.
Within a month after, Butcher was seen wearing a large engagement ring and Murphy's rep confirmed the two's engagement. Butcher also let the public in on the baby's sex while she was out shopping.
She said at the time:
“It’s going to be a boy."
We wish the newborn health and the hope all the best for the couple.
