Tia Mowry melts hearts with new photo of her two growing kids, showing their uncanny resemblance
Tia Mowry gave fans another look into her beautiful family recently with a photo of her children. The picture comes after the actress revealed her biggest problem with having two kids.
The “Sister Sister” alum showed off her seven-year-old son Cree and her seven-month-old daughter Cairo as they enjoyed some quality sibling time.
Cree, still in his pajamas, wrapped both arms around his sister and beamed at the camera. Cairo didn’t look like she was having a bad time either, propped up against her brother in a white onesie and matching bow.
Tia captioned the post:
“I love starting my morning with my loves.”
It didn’t take long for her fans to show up in the comments section with heartwarming words.
“Beautiful blessings like this are what brings joy to our [heart]. Makes every day feel like everything gonna be okay! They are beautiful children.”
“These faces can brighten any day!”
“Awwweee twins so cute!”
Cree and Cairo enjoy a strong sibling bond, but Tia revealed two months ago that her biggest challenge with having two kids is trying to give her son the attention he deserves.
“He had come up to me one day, and he had said ‘Mommy, you give Cairo more kisses,’” she shared on an episode of Tia Mowry's Quick Fix. “He’s old enough, and he’s aware that all of my attention is going to [Cairo]. My baby, she needs lots of attention, but that doesn’t mean that I have to, you know, ignore my son.”
Tia said the realization made her create the idea of a mother-son date night where she hangs out and have fun with Cree. She also learned to include him in her daily care routine for Cairo.
“If I’m changing baby Cairo, I’ll say ‘Hey Cree, hand me that diaper cream.’ …If I’m even putting baby Cairo to bed, I’ll say ‘Why don’t you come and join me in the bed and we’ll watch something on television together.’ He’s really been a big help and I feel like incorporating him in my daily routine is really helping him feel involved.”
Earlier in August, the 40-year-old actress told E! News that she’s not trying to get overwhelmed with her new role as a mom-of-two. “I'm only looking as far as my two feet can go," Tia confessed. “I can't get so far ahead of myself, or I'll get really, really overwhelmed.”
It looks like the “Tia Mowry At Home” host is finding that much-needed balance already. Go, mom!
Tia and her husband, fellow actor Cory Hardrict welcomed their daughter in May after a long battle with the actress’ endometriosis.
