In the image, Eugenie, 28, and Beatrice, 30, are seen posing together with their hair tied up in coordinating yellow scrunchies.
The photo immediately caught the attention of Eugenie's over 600,000 followers on Instagram. A lot of netizens couldn't help but comment on the picture.
One user wrote: "Omg!!!! So cute, @princesseugenie. Did you know scrunchies are back in style? My 13 and 15 year old girls wear them."
"Sister's are cradle to grave they are each other's best friend. Period. I have scoliosis and so admire HRH Princess Eugenie. I look to her fashion sense," added another.
" Oh so sweet and adorable sisters! Stay as sweet and lovely as you are!" commented another user.
In a joint interview with British Vogue, Eugenie and Beatrice candidly talked about their cozy relationship. But much the same as any siblings, the pair admitted that they had been known to have their arguments.
"One of the biggest fights we ever had was about a pair of Converse trainers," said Beatrice, who is eighth in line to succeed her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
"We have the same size feet and both of us had identical pairs. One pair got trashed and the other sister may have swapped them," she added.
Eugenie and Beatrice are the daughters of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York. They will soon be celebrating Christmas together at Sandringham.
Meanwhile, Eugenie, who tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on October 12, 2018, is the only member of the royal family to have a private Instagram account.
The reason that she is permitted to have an Instagram account is that she and Beatrice are not working royals.
They both have full-time jobs, but neither one fulfills any royal duties in an official capacity.
