Al B. Sure shares moving birthday tribute to 'forever his lady' Kim Porter in recent post

Albert Joseph Brown, best known as Al B. Sure, took to Instagram to share a tribute to his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter on December 15, what would have been her 48th birthday.

The tribute was a video taken many years ago showing Kim talking about how powerful the effect that Al B. Sure had on women was. She compared it to what Justin Bieber caused when his career was on the rise.

In the caption, the record producer thanked BET for sharing the clip and added that hashtags “Happy Birthday” “I [Miss You]” and “Forever My Lady.”

PEOPLE’S REACTION

As soon as he uploaded that video, his followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Most of them thanked him for sharing such a moment with them while others wished that Kim was resting in peace.

“Beautiful memories Happy Birthday Kim You are truly missed by Family Friendship Fans [sic],” admitted one follower.

“Happy Belated Birthday. Not only was she beautiful, she was articulate and well spoken,” wrote a second user.

“Hold on to ALL your special moments with her!” pointed out another follower.

Kim and Al B. Sure dated for a while before she met Sean Combs, also known as Diddy. The former couple had one son, Quincy, who is 27 years old nowadays and was adopted by Diddy when he and Kim started a relationship.

Unfortunately, Kim was found dead in her Toluca Lake, California home on November 15. The cause of death remains unknown as it “was deferred pending additional tests.” She passed at the age of 47.

DIDDY’S TRIBUTE

Al B. Sure was not the only person who took to social media to honor Kim on what would have been her 48th birthday. Diddy did it, too, and he uploaded four posts to do so.

One of them was the photo of a colorful drawing that showed Kim in what the artist considered was Heaven. She had wings and a halo while a couple of angels were around her.

After that, he uploaded a video recorded about 11 years ago when the couple was still together and expecting twins D’Lila and Jesse. Diddy posted another image showing Kim with Quincy, and a fourth one portraying the “love of his life” posing with the twins in her arms.

QUINCY’S TRIBUTE

Quincy, Kim’s eldest child, also shared a photo wherein he appeared wearing a black shirt and a matching hat with his eyes closed while Kim, also wearing a black ensemble and with her eyes closed, was hugging him in the cutest way.

One of the aspects that attracted more attention was the slight smile on their faces. In the caption, Quincy set clear that he celebrates his mother every day, that he would honor her for eternity, and that he misses and loves her more than anyone could imagine.
