Loni Love shows off her natural hair in recent pic and reveals why she always wears wigs

Loni Love ditches her wig and celebrates her natural roots in a selfie pic from a salon.

Loni Love’s hair couldn’t get any more real when she flaunted it in its natural state in her latest Instagram post.

The talk show host celebrated her natural look hanging out in a salon on a Friday night. She took a selfie sans her usual wig to reveal her naturally shorter, frizzy hair.

WHY SHE WEARS WIGS

Loni’s long silky do that she often fashions is, in fact, a wig. She told a fan who made a comment about her wigs on the photo that she always wears one to protect her real hair.

“I do it as protective style. I do two to three shows a day up to 15 shows in a week..tv and comedy shows.. my hair would wear out under lights and heat. I’ve been doing it for fifteen years that is why I have hair. I take care of it.”

PREVIOUS TIMES SHE REVEALED HER NATURAL HAIR

The first time Loni showed off her natural hair was in 2015 after her “The Real” co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley flaunted hers. Then in 2017, she took off her wig again and revealed her natural strands to pay tribute to a quote by India Aire which she wrote in her caption.

“I am not my hair, I am not my skin, I am the soul that lives within.”

HAPPILY ATTACHED

Loni has every reason to celebrate her life with her career as a television host thriving and a new love life to match.

The self-confessed “satisfied single” seems to now be happily attached flaunting her new boyfriend, actor James Welsh. Loni recently shared that they’ve gone on their 10th date which made for a milestone she commemorated in a photo.

Loni, who’s cautious about commitments ever since her failed marriage is hopeful her new relationship will last. She remains mum about the details of when James reportedly “ghosted” her for two weeks after they first met and told her co-hosts she would rather James explained it himself in 2019.

It seems like love is certainly in the air for Loni, not to mention, in her hair.
