Nick Cannon shares video of daughter Monroe teaching her younger brother how to read
Nick Cannon reveals a new clip of his genius son reading as his older sister teaches him.
Nick Cannon is a father-of-three and a master at maintaining a close relationship between his children. He recently shared a clip proving their undeniable bond.
ESTABLISHING A CLOSE CONNECTION AMONG HIS CHILDREN
Cannon fathered twins with his ex-wife Mariah Carey and has a one-year-old son with Brittany Bell. Though they live in separate homes, his children are close, thanks to his efforts at rearing them that way.
The comedian would often have all his children in his abode for a sleepover which is usually the time they get to bond and be familiar with each other. On several occasions, he would share glimpses of their bedtime rituals and how his 7-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe are tasked with taking care of their younger sibling, Golden.
Back in April, the talk show host gushed about the relationship his twins have with their half-brother.
"They love hanging out with him, and it is almost like they are more concerned about him having fun than them having fun.”
He added that they’ve become aware of their responsibility as an older brother and sister.
"Watching that whole older sibling thing take place, they understand the responsibility of it. They understand that they can teach him things, so it is really cool.”
MONROE MENTORS GOLDEN
It seems like the twins took their role seriously. Cannon recently shared a clip he captioned "Young teaching Young Kings" where Monroe teaches her little brother how to read.
Golden, who turns two in February would read from giant cards his sister places in front of him. Monroe asks him, “What does this say?” and the little boy impresses by reading the word expertly. They do this several times with Golden nailing every word.
He gets the approval of her mentor who claps at the end and his father who says, “Yeah, good job, man!”
CANNON COMES TO "GENIUS" GOLDEN'S DEFENSE
Golden is clearly a genius for managing to read at his age. Cannon made sure Wendy Williams knew that when he shared a clip of his proficient reader last month. Williams labeled Golden an “oops baby” during one of her spiels in her show which didn’t sit well with the comedian and Golden's mother. Cannon used the clip of his “brilliant” son reading words like “tiger” and “polar bear” as a response to Williams who he addressed in his caption.
“No oops over here @wendyshow LOL”
The message is loud and clear. Don't mess with Cannon's children.
