People baffled at seeing an Alaskan Malamute on a plane allowed to escort his disabled owner
An Alaskan Malamute was seen sitting next to his physically-challenged owner on a plane.
Photos published on Sohu show a large, brown Alaskan Malamute silently sitting in one of the passenger seats of a China Southern Airlines aircraft.

“Compared with annoying kids who keeps kicking other people's seats or old people who talk loudly, I'd rather sit with a service dog!"
The service dog was allowed to travel on the same flight to accompany his owner, who was described as an emotionally vulnerable flyer.

The Alaskan Malamute was qualified as an emotional support animal and was approved by medical professionals with the relevant certifications, a China Southern Airlines spokesperson was reported as saying.
AIRLINE REQUIREMENTS
Service animals need official identification papers and a valid health certificate before they can be allowed to travel in cabins for its owner.

The Alaskan Malamute’s large head can be seen sticking out amid the rows of passengers. A video of the dog sitting quietly on board the plane quickly went viral on Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
“Compared with annoying kids who keeps kicking other people's seats or old people who talk loudly, I'd rather sit with a service dog!" one comment on the microblogging site reads.
Another user commented: “Such a well-behaved and cute dog. I wouldn't mind sitting next to it.”
ANOTHER INCREDIBLE SERVICE ANIMAL
Another large dog that has captured people’s heart is George the Great Dane, who has been helping 11-year-old Bella to walk as her service dog.
Bella can hardly walk because of a rare progressive disorder called Morquio Syndrome.
Bella met George as she was volunteering at Service Dog Project, Inc. She instantly fell in love with the adorable dog, becoming almost inseparable from one another in the following days.
“I could tell he needed me and I needed him,” Bella said.
Because of all his help, George was pampered for a day, receiving a hero’s welcome at the Fairmont Copley Plaza.
He was rewarded with a delicious burger feast at Wahlburgers, and he got to play out in the snow.
