Princess Love claps back at critics after riding with baby Melody in a toy car in adorable video
Princess Love may have changed her mind about keeping her daughter away from social media but the reality star stays ever ready to clap back at any critic, and she proved herself recently.
Last Christmas, some social media users had a problem with the fact that Princess and her husband, Ray J, gave their daughter Melody, a mini car.
Princess wasted no time giving the critics a sharp response at the time, but a few days ago, the mom-of-one proved she wasn’t done yet with shutting haters up.
The “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star took to Instagram with a video of herself riding around a room with baby Melody in the red car. While Princess worked the wheel, her eight-month-old girl stayed occupied with clapping her dainty hands.
The footage also showed off other toys in the room, including a miniature piano, an elaborate pram, and another pink car with an inscription that says: “Melody.”
Princess captioned the clip with a not-so-subtle dig at everyone who had come for her and Ray J about the gift:
“When people say she’s too little to enjoy her toy car.”
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Last Christmas was Ray J and Princess’s first as parents, and considering that they had infertility struggles, with Princess delivering Melody after a 24-hour labor, it was understandable that the couple wanted to pull out all the stops.
The excited mom took to social media to show off melody’s red RC Ferrari, but some netizens chose to call her out, saying that their daughter was too young for such a gift.
“I will never post melody's photo ever again on social media.”
“Why buy her a car she can’t drive? Why not put the same money into a college fund?” wrote one Instagram user.
“You just get the gifts for pics & yourself,” another person accused. “Nothing the baby can enjoy now. Eventually but not now.”
STAYING CLAPBACK-READY
As a clapback to the negative comments, Princess posted another photo of the car and wrote:
“This is for the grown women hating on a baby’s gift VROOM VROOM WITCHES.”
After a fan commented to say no one was hating, but they were saying it’s “dumb” to buy a car when Melody can’t even hold her head up, Princess fired back:
“Don’t be mad, your lips are ashy.”
PRINCESS MADE A VOW
Only last month, Princess was pushed beyond her limit with negative comments about her baby, and she vowed never to put up her pictures or videos online again.
“I will never post melody's photo ever again on social media,” Princess wrote in all caps and proceeded to delete every existing one from her Instagram page.
She changed her mind earlier this year, sharing a photo of the adorable tot in a cream-colored dress, but Princess obviously still has zero tolerance for trolls and will be defending her family every chance she gets.
