'Black Panther's Chadwick Boseman Was All Smiles as He Hit Oscars Red Carpet with Longtime Love

Chadwick Boseman makes a rare appearance with his longtime girlfriend on the red carpet of this year's Academy Awards. The couple looked stunning together, shutting down rumors of Boseman's involvement with his co-star.

More than what stars are wearing, who they’re taking to the Oscar’s red carpet is news fodder. And on Sunday, “Black Panther”’s Chadwick Boseman made the news after he brought along his longtime girlfriend for all the world to see.

Boseman beamed with pride as he stood next to Taylor Simone Ledward, his girlfriend since 2015. He looked dashing in Givenchy Couture while his beautiful date stunned in a black, low-cut, pleated gown. The pair posed for pictures and appeared solid.

The couple’s appearance at the red carpet is a rare occurrence. Boseman is known to walk the carpet alone in past events and Ledward would just meet him inside. However, it appears times have changed. It may also mean another thing. Boseman is putting an end to rumors of chemistry developed between him and his co-star Lupita Nyong’o.

There was no doubt a great connection between Boseman and Nyong’o as their characters in their blockbuster film. But the actor’s family insists it’s Ledward who’s the perfect match for him.

Last year, his grandmother spoke to Ok Magazine and gave her insights about their relationship.

“They respect each other. She’s very happy and he is, too.”

Meanwhile, Boseman’s sister made sure fans knew that her brother already had a real-life queen in a comment on Instagram.

“His real life queen is gorgeous, and together they embody true love. Not to mention they would make some beautiful babies!”

With Boseman’s heart clearly reserved for someone else, Nyong’o was also rumored to be connecting with her other co-star, Michael B. Jordan. The pair seemed to tease fans with their off-cam flirtation and Jordan was quoted as saying “I love her to death” in reference to the actress. During the Golden Globe Awards, the pair even appeared in a hilarious video where Jordan kisses Nyong’o. Of course, it was all in the spirit of fun. Both have admitted they’re just friends with great chemistry.
