Catherine Zeta-Jones Flashed Bare Shoulders and Legs in Rare Outing with Both Children
The stunning Catherine Zeta-Jones makes a rare red carpet appearance with her children at the Wales’ National Day Gala in New York City.
The Hollywood star was escorted by her 18-year-old son Dylan and her daughter Carys, now 15. Both children are gorgeous like their movie star parents and were perfectly coordinated for the evening affair. Mother and daughter chose off-the-shoulder, dark red ensembles with Catherine in a solid velvet gown with a high slit, and Carys opting for a floral, floor-sweeping design. Dylan kept it classic in a black suit.
Catherine was given an honorary degree from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and shared a photo expressing her gratitude for the distinction.
“An inspirational evening with this incredible group from The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama! Delighted to be initiated as a Fellow of this stellar establishment. Thank you all for sharing your talents! I was honored and in awe by your presentation. I’ll let you know as soon as I pick my jaw up off the floor! #RWCMD”
Catherine and Carys were also cover girls for Town & Country’s Modern Swans and Living Legends September issue last year. The article shared a few insights on their relationship with Carys saying,
“My parents do a really good job of reality-checking me and being like, ‘Look around you. The life you have is extraordinary.’”
Zeta-Jones, 49, and husband Michael Douglas, 74, were last seen out with their daughter at the Michael Kors show during New York Fashion Week.
The couple is very supportive of Dylan and Carys' wishes to join the family business.
Zeta-Jones does her best to give a balanced assessment of her children’s future,
“You know, I know it’s going to be hard for them because they’ve got their grandfather, Kirk, they’ve got me, they have Michael. But they so inherently love it, and they’re good!”
The kids are third generation Hollywood royalty, with grandfather Kirk Douglas, and their parents triumphantly paving the way. Their ease on the red carpet, good manners, and solid upbringing are already telltale signs of a bright Hollywood future.
