Alex Rodriguez Accused of Cheating with Ex-Wife after Surprise Proposal to Jennifer Lopez

The day after Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez got engaged, the retired baseball player Jose Canseco accused Alex of cheating.

In a flurry of tweets that started on Sunday night while “watching World of Dance,” a reality dance competition on NBC in which Jennifer is a judge.

Jose insists that Alex is cheating on Jennifer Lopez with his ex-wife, Jessica Canseco:

In tweets that followed Jose claimed that he heard his ex-wife Jessica and Alex talk over the phone a while back and shamed Alex for cheating on Jennifer Lopez. Jose went as far to challenge Alex to a fight:

“Alex Rodriguez I challenge you to a boxing match or an MMA match anytime you want.”

The former major league baseball player even volunteered for a polygraph test to prove he is not trying to stir trouble but telling the truth.

The “I’m Real” singer joined Alex for a weekend of romance who finally popped the question early on Saturday evening. Elated with the engagement both Alex and Jennifer took to social media to share the happy news:

The couple celebrated their second anniversary only weeks earlier, and according to a jewelry expert, the massive diamond engagement ring is worth a whopping $1.4 million as Brandon Hill of Chicago's Steve Quick Jeweler said:

"A-Rod went with a very classic emerald-cut diamond which accentuates Jennifer’s fingers with its elongated shape. The diamond looks to be around 15 carats and is colorless with the highest clarity."

According to E! the lovebirds are enjoying a getaway in Baker’s Bay and Jennifer’s representative, Benny Medina confirmed with a statement to People, “They are on vacation and got engaged today.”

Jennifer had three previous marriages; her first marriage was to Ojani Noa from 1997 - 1998, in 2001 she married Chis Judd, but their union only lasted two years.

Her marriage to Marc Anthony lasted much longer as the two got married in 2004 and split in 2015. Two years later she started dating Alex. Jennifer share twins Emme and Maximilian with Marc.

For Alex it would be his second time getting wed, his first time was to Cynthia Scurtis from 2002 until 2008. The couple has two daughters, Natasha and Ella together.

This is the second time Alex is accused of cheating. Back in February 2018 Jennifer reportedly found out that Alex continued to text model Lauren Hunter after Jennifer and Alex started dating, and thought of ending the relationship, according to an insider at the time. In Jennifer’s book, whether it is physical or not, “that’s still cheating.”

The multi-talented Jennifer had quite the year so far, but apart from the proposal on Saturday, the gift that she got from Alex for the second anniversary had Jennifer all star struck.
