Diana Ross Is the Proud Mother of Five Mixed-Race Children from 3 Different Men

Diana Ross was married two times, and have five mixed-race children who are all grown, and with each one successful in their chosen path. Although some chose to tread along the path their mother went through.

Diana Ross is one of the most successful music artists of her time, whose music still causes many to take to the dance floor. The singer is also a good mother to her five mixed-race children— two males and three females.

Ross' first child Rhonda Suzanne Silberstein was born in August 1971. Her biological father was the CEO of Motown, Berry Gordy, whom the famous singer dated for several years beginning from ’65.

During her pregnancy with Rhonda, the mother of five got married to Robert Ellis Silberstein, who took the unborn child as his own. Silberstein had two children with award-winning singer, Tracee Joy— 1972, and Chudney Lane Silberstein— 1975.

In 1977, the marriage between Ross and the father of her daughters ended, and by the start of the ’80s, she moved to New York City. While in the big apple, the “He Lives in Me” singer met her second husband, a Norwegian businessman, Arne Næss Junior.

The Norwegian already had three children whom the music icon took up as her step-children. They later had two children, Ross Arne— 1987 and Evan Olav Ross— 1988.

Ross's children have followed her footsteps into show business, except Chudney who apart from being a teacher, is a ski instructor, child mentor, and an author.

Rhonda is an actress who is best known for playing “Toni Burrell” in “Another World.”

Tracee is an actress and a model. The “Black-ish star also works as a fashion editor with “Mirabella” and “New York Magazine.”

Arne Næss is into production and loves adventure, while his brother, Evan, is an actor and a music artist. The “Star” actor also has a reality show with his wife Ashlee Simpson on “E!.”

In one of the episodes of the show, the 31-year-old said Ross was always available while he and his siblings were growing up, as the superstar mum adjusts her studio time to be present for her children.

Ross in her time had a successful musical career. The “Upside Down” singer started with the girl group “The Supremes” and served as their lead singer. The group became one of the most successful girl band of all time, and in 2004, was placed at number 96 on “Rolling Stones 100 Greatest Artists” of all time.

In 1970, the group disbanded, leaving Ross to pursue a solo career. As a solo artist, the singer released 25 studio albums and 91 singles. The proud mother also went into acting, receiving an “Academy Award” nomination for her role in “Lady Sings The Blues.”
