J. Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Reveal New Proposal Photos

On Saturday, Alex Rodriguez took to Instagram to reveal that he and Jennifer Lopez were engaged. He shared an image of his fiancée wearing her engagement ring.

This week, it was the singer’s turn to share some of her own images from the proposal which occurred in the Bahamas.

This weekend retired New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, 43, posted an image that revealed that Jennifer Lopez, 49, had agreed to marry him. He captioned the Instagram image, "She said yes."

The photo showed Lopez's hand decorated with a brand new emerald-cut engagement ring which was estimated to cost around $5 million. On Tuesday, the singer and actress took to her own Instagram to show us the exact moment her boyfriend proposed.

One photo showed Rodriguez kneeling down on one knee at a private Bahamas beach presenting Lopez with the ring. It appears the two were at the location for a vacation.

The second picture has the athlete reaching out to put the ring on Lopez’s finger as she appears to be crying with joy. The third image shows them kissing while he’s still on bended knee.

The last photo shows them both standing and sealing the deal with another passionate kiss. For the occasion, Rodriguez wore white jeans, a gray sweater, white sneakers, and adorned his hand with his World Series ring.

Lopez wore a flowing white skirt and top by Spell & the Gypsy Collective and tan sandals. On Tuesday, Rodriguez also took to his Instagram story to share about their engagement.

Alongside a photo from the proposal in which he’s seen kissing Lopez’s forehead he wrote:

“There aren’t many words to share with you, only feelings. Gratitude. Excitement. And just … joy. We know there is work to do to keep building a family and future we can be proud of, and we can’t do it without all of you. We are so thankful for all your messages of love and congratulations.”

The couple began dating on February 3, 2017. Rodriguez is a father to daughters Natasha, 14, and Ella, 10, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. While Lopez has 11-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

The athlete allegedly went engagement ring shopping for his future wife all by himself and she had no idea a proposal was coming. A source confirmed, “He did everything on his own with the ring. It was a complete surprise [to Jen].”
