Kim Kardashian Confirms Her Marriage with NBA Player Kris Humphries Wasn’t Fake
Former professional basketball player, Kris Humphries tells "The Player's Tribune" that his marriage with Kim Kardashian was real and Kim Kardashian confirmed it to be true.
While many things about the Kardashians may be episodes of the family's popular reality TV show, Kris Humphries, who was once a member of the Kardashian family by his marriage to Kim, says their marriage was not a part of the show.

On an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2011, the TV family announced Kim's engagement to Kris and in August 2011, the couple got married in a 10 million-dollar fairytale wedding.
Sadly, however, the marriage hit the rocks, and in 72 days the lovers split. In an article published by The Players Tribune, Kris opens up about the marriage.
The retired basketball player, who announced his retirement on Tuesday felt hurt that fans thought he married Kim for attention when he actually did love her. He added that he was in a bad place for about a year after the divorce.

Kris, in the essay, recalled being booed badly during a game at Madison Square while he played for the first time after his marriage ended. The 34-year-old said:
"I was getting booed so loud that it was crazy. I’m talking feel-it-in-your-bones booed."
He also revealed that the marriage took his identity from him, he said:
"I wasn’t Kris Humphries anymore. I was That Guy."
The couple's marriage ended in October 2011, Kim filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. Kris was greatly upset by the divorce, and this led to a battle filled divorce that was finalized in June 2013.

Kris, in his final notes, said he needs no pity and wants none, he only wants to be remembered as "a grinder, as a guy who transformed into a heck of a rebounder, and as a guy who always tried to put the game in the best light."
Kim, who is now married to Kanye West reacted to Kris's essay. A source said Kim empathizes with Kris and affirms Kris's claim that they married for love.

The mother of 3, with a fourth child on the way through a surrogate, says she had no idea Kris was in a dark time. She adds that she could relate to the hard time as she also did a lot of crying after the divorce.
Hopefully, the ex-lovers become friends again.
