Kelly Ripa Pays Touching Video Tribute to Her ‘Finest’ Husband on His 48th Birthday

Mark Consuelo's just turned 48 and his wife, Kelly Ripa made sure he felt the extra love. She posted a sweet birthday message for her husband on Instagram along with a compilation of photos.

Kelly Ripa recently posted a sweet birthday message with a video for her husband, Mark Consuelos’ 48th birthday. The video showed a compilation of different photos of Consuelos with family and friends, through the years, while playing the song Mississippi Delta (I’m Your Man) by Jake Shears.

The post was captioned,

“Happy birthday to the finest man! You are our heart and soul and rock and roll @instasuelos.”

Consuelos responded to the post with a comment saying “thank you” with a lot of heart emojis. Fans of the “Riverdale” actor were also quick to comment, wishing him a happy birthday. One comment read,

“Happy Birthday!! You are awesome!! S great husband, dad and actor and human being!! Hoping all your dreams continue to be fulfilled!!”

Another fan complimented the couple,

“I watched live this morning. You 2 are the cutest couple ever. I just love your energy!”

Often, Ripa posts photos or videos of her husband on Instagram, showing the world how in love they truly are. She

shared a video of Consuelo’s pulling up his shirt and showing his six-pack abs, which her daughter reacted to.

The video was captioned,

“This thirst trap Friday has been brought to you by the letters K and J. Thanks @kjapa.”

Her daughter jokingly replied to the post, saying,

“I just reported this,”

In which her mom replied,

“Lola…….shouldn’t you be reading a book or something?”

Lola, 17, is one of the couple’s three children. The other two are Michael, 21, and Joaquin, 16.

The couple began their relationship amidst the set for “All My Children,” back in 1995. They first met when Consuelo’s auditioned for the show, which Ripa has been part of for five years.

Their marriage happened abruptly the year after on May 1st. Ripa shared that she told Consuelos to pop the question only when he was serious, and in reply he said,

“I am serious. Let’s go to Vegas tomorrow and get married,”

And so they did.

Their first child, Michael Joseph, was born the year after in 1997, followed by their second child, Lola Grace, in 2001, and their youngest, Joaquin Antonio, in 2003.

The two have kept their career within showbusiness, and have been happily married ever since. As seen on Ripa’s Instagram page, the two enjoy each others company and have been great parents to their children. Definitely, their marriage was the best decision, if not one of, of their lives.
