Nipsey Hussle's Memorial Service Will Reportedly Be Held at Staples Center
The rapper's memorial is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the 21,000-capacity Staples Center, the same place where Michael Jackson's memorial was held a decade ago.
The information was first reported by TMZ, which claimed that anonymous sources with direct knowledge of the situation said tickets will be put on sale.
According to the publication, the tickets for the event will be made available through a website and only those holding them will be granted admission.

LESS THAN A WEEK TO PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER
It has been reported that some members of Hussle's family have reunited with Staples, and Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were present to "help plan logistics and security."
Organizing a ceremony of this magnitude in such a short amount of time seems like a Herculean task, but TMZ guarantees that rental companies responsible for staging equipment have already been contacted.

It has also been learned that Staples workers have been asked to reserve the day. However, everything will have to be closely monitored due to the final Los Angeles Clippers' basketball game, which will take place the day before.
THE IDEAL PLACE TO HONOR THE LATE RAPPER
So far, little is known about the memorial service and, hopefully, more details will be unveiled in the following days since the Staples Center has a history full of amazing events, such as the 2006 X Games and Wrestlemania 21.

Hussle passed away last Sunday, after being shot by a man named Eric Holder in front of Marathon Clothing, one of the rapper's businesses in South Los Angeles.
STAMPEDE AT A VIGIL
The Police arrested Holder on Tuesday, who is now facing murder charges and could be sentenced to life behind bars. The day before, a vigil in memory of Hussle erupted into chaos after a fight broke out.
The situation escalated into a stampede, which resulted in 19 people getting injured. LAPD officers on the scene tried to control the situation by asking the crowd to remain calm and rendering assistance to those in need.
