Snoop Dogg once said his daughter wouldn’t be dating till she's 45, but Cori Broadus apparently did not take her father’s words literally. The teenager recently showed off her natural beauty while cuddling up to her boyfriend of over six months in new photos.

Of all his children, Snoop Dogg’s baby of the house, Cori, is the one trailing his musical path and the 19-year-old also seems to have inherited his bold spirit.

Not caring for makeup or social media glam, Cori took to Instagram last month with a photo of herself and her boyfriend cuddled up in a car.

The “Do My Thang” singer rocked her short hair without any embellishments and flaunted a sun-kissed bare face while cradling her beau’s face.

“We both got each other glowing,” she gushed in the caption.

YOUNG LOVE & GROWTH

Earlier, Cori had shared another picture of the pair while wearing a weave and makeup so we can assume these lovebirds are comfortable with each other either way.

Cori, who Snoop fondly calls “Choc,” first debuted her big chop in March of 2018 along with a motivational message: “Don’t be afraid to try new things. My growth is reallllll.”

The budding R&B artist has come a long way from the days when she despised her dark skin and suffered deep insecurities over true beauty.

A MAN WHO SUPPORTS HIS WOMAN

This will also not be the first time that Cori is showing off her boyfriend, Dwayne Polk. The two were spotted back in January when Dwayne was present to support Cori at a performance.

The singer showed off their love, sitting on her man’s legs in head-to-toe Gucci apparel. Since revealing in January that they had been dating for six months, Cori has consistently featured Dwayne on her social media pages.

PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP

Before Dwayne, Cori was reportedly in a relationship with a young man known as EZ. The two were said to have started dating since eighth grade and even had a joint YouTube channel where they got to interact with fans.

If Snoop (birth name Calvin Cordozar Broadus) has any problem with his baby girl dating, the “What’s My Name?” rapper does not show it.

SNOOP DOGG'S PLANS

During a 2014 appearance on “The Queen Latifah Show,” the doting dad had gushed about his relationship with his only daughter and revealed his plans for her dating life.

“That’s my baby girl. That’s me being able to tap into my feminine side; to be a father and let go of all that masculinity and be caring and loving for his daughter. …I used to come home late at night from the studio and she’ll be sleeping, I’ll just wake her up because I wanted to play with her. …She’s at that age now where boys [are involved] …so I have to be there for her to let her understand that it’s okay to like the boys but you not finna have a boyfriend until you’re 45 years old.”

CORI'S LUPUS STORY

Beyond being his baby girl, Cori also holds special significance for her father, and indeed, her parents. Her Lupus diagnosis, at just six years old, came around the same time Snoop filed for divorce from his wife, Shante Broadus, who he married in 1997.

Battling for their daughter’s life helped Snoop and Shante realize that their love was worth fighting for and the couple renewed their wedding vows on January 12, 2008. Today, Cori’s health is restored and so is her parent’s marriage.

Snoop and his wife have two other children, sons Cordé, 24 and Cordell, 22.
