Before there was the hit TV show "Friends," there was "Living Single," which starred Queen Latifah, Kim Coles, Kim Fields, Erika Alexander, T.C. Carson, and John Henton. The show ran from 1993 to 1997, and was a huge success. The show was about four single ladies living in New York City, and it quickly captured the attention of their viewers because of their comedy and catchy opening song.

Now, more than two decades later, Queen Latifah went on "Watch What Happens Next" to reveal what's next for "Living Single." She shares good news of a possible rebooting of their show in the next couple of years, and agreeing that "Friends" was basically a "white version" of Living Single, which was revamped to fit other audiences.

Keeping In-touch

During the show's 25th anniversary, some of its cast members paid tribute to one another. Kim Fields shared a cute throwback photo of her and her co-stars, writing: "LIVING SINGLE IS 25 TODAY! #HappyBirthday #HappyAnniversary #LivingSingle25 #LS25 we love how you love us... still. #YvetteLeeBowser"

Clearly, it's not just Kim Fields who kept the show close to her heart, as even Queen Latifah herself has been gushing about it in recent interviews. Her most recent one with Andy Cohen has been keeping their fans alive, hoping to see a reboot of the successful show in the near future. After all, with a star like Latifah investing it, nothing can go wrong and fans are sure to see something worth viewing.
