Kate Hudson Cheekily Jokes about the ‘Breaking News’ Coverage of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Newborn
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child, a baby boy, into this world on the 6th of April. Thousands of people around the world rejoiced over baby Sussex’s arrival, and actress Kate Hudson was no exception.
Kate, 40, posted a rather hilarious video on her Instagram account wherein she addressed the “breaking news” coverage of the Royal Baby’s arrival in a humorous way. Sipping her morning coffee, the actress said it is a “big day” because baby Sussex has arrived.
“They could go nanny, they could go manny, because they’re super progressive,” she joked. “I'm sure it's going to be a pretty good day of people repeating they don't know what the name is yet.”

The “Almost Famous” star further quipped how she might get back to her fans with the breaking news of “not knowing what the name is.”
Returning to her Instagram story, Kate said: “Breaking news! There's speculation that it might be an American nanny.”
Meghan and Prince Harry announced the big news via their official Instagram account. Shortly after the announcement, Prince Harry made a short public statement about being a new parent.
“We have a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It has been the most amazing experience I could have ever possibly imagined,” the Duke of Sussex gushed.
Harry further exclaimed how a woman does what she does is “beyond comprehension” before thanking everyone for their love and support.
Talking about the possible name for the baby, Harry said they were still thinking about the names.
Baby Sussex is on the lighter end as compared to the babies of Prince William and Kate Middleton. While Prince Louis wins the weight game with an 8lbs 7oz, baby Sussex ranks at the bottom with 7lbs. 3oz.
The new Royal family member is seventh in line for the throne behind Prince Charles, Prince William, and his three cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louise.
