Hoda Kotb Shares a Sweet Photo of Kathie Lee Gifford Meeting Her Baby, Hope Catherine

Hoda Kotb and former “TODAY” co-host, Kathie Lee enjoy a sweet little meet-up. Kotb uploaded a picture of Kathie cradling her new baby while visiting the former.

Although Gifford said an emotional “goodbye” to the cast and crew of the “TODAY” show, she isn’t severing ties with her workmate Hoda Kotb. The talk show expert paid a cordial visit to Kotb at her home as she seized the opportunity to meet the latest addition to Hoda’s family.

While sharing a photo of herself and Gifford including her two daughters, Hayley Joy, and Hope Catherine. Kotb wrote on Instagram saying:

“Lookie who came to say hi!!! Xoxo @kathielgifford love you Kath xx”

In the picture, Kathie is holding baby Hope while Hoda cuddles two-year-old Hayley Joy as the adults share a happy grin. Gifford who recently ended her stay on “TODAY” was at the just concluded Daytime Emmy Awards to receive the award for “Outstanding informative talk show host” on behalf of herself and her colleagues.

The 65-year-old TV personality isn’t the first of Hoda’s colleagues to visit little Hope Catherine, as Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie made out time to celebrate Hoda’s, new baby.

Meredith Vieira cheerfully said, as she also shared her visit to Hoda’s home while speaking on the set of “TODAY”:

“She's so little; she's so beautiful, Hoda's in heaven. She's so happy."

Kathie isn’t quite over her exit from “TODAY,” as the "Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee” host spoke emotionally while she placed a call through to her colleagues on the show. Kathie addressed the women of “TODAY” show saying:

"Hoda, you know I never would've been there for 11 years if I hadn't fallen in love with my Egyptian sunshine in a bottle, and I'm just excited for the future for everybody — new babies, new everything.”

Kotb lovingly chipped in while reminiscing on the times spent together on the show saying:

“You, my dear, when you think about the years we spent together, and this was kind of the last Emmy award ceremony for our show. The fact that there you were on that stage holding that hardware was so amazing, I was like, that's how you put a period on the end of a sentence. That's how you do it. "

It is evident that Kathie Lee Gifford will be missed on the TV show.
