Hilary Duff Reveals Engagement to Matthew Koma By Showing off Her Gorgeous Ring
Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma announced the news of their engagement on social media, showing her engagement ring while sharing a sweet kiss.
Matthew Koma, 31, just popped the big question to Hilary Duff, 31, and the answer is a definite yes! The couple announced their engagement on Thursday through Instagram, showing two selfies of the two and the gorgeous ring.
The same photo was posted by Duff and Koma, with the captions “He asked me to be his wife,” and “I asked my best friend to marry me,” respectively.
The “Lizzie McGuire” actress was first linked to Koma in 2017 but broke up shortly after. Within a few months in the same year, the two got back together and have stayed inseparable since.
A year later, Duff announced that she was pregnant with her beau’s child on Instagram with a photo of Koma kissing her on the cheek, while she was showing off her baby bump.
“Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!” she captioned the post.
On October 25, the couple became proud parents to Banks Violet Bair, a name that unintentionally has several family ties. Duff and Koma were quick to agree on a moniker which they believed was “unique” but not “too weird.”
Duff also shares a son, Luca Cruz Comrie, with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, who like a big brother, had some thoughts about his little sister's name, suggesting Cofant Croissant, to his mom.
"Luca thinks Cofant Croissant is, like, the coolest name," Duff shared with James Corden.
Their lives, although kept private, can be seen through the Instagram posts of Duff, being an avid user of the social media platform. She uses it as an avenue, not only to share beautiful photos of her family, but also to open up about challenges of being a mother.
