Mama June Reportedly Breaks down over Cheating Rumors in 'From Not to Hot'

Reality star, Mama June reportedly suffers a relapse while filming on the set of “From Not to Hot” following rumors about her partner, cheating.

In the teaser released from the reality show, June “Mama June” Shannon declares that the cheating issues and drug charge that connect her with her lover, Geno Doak is beginning to take its toll on her.

And while filming “From Not to Hot,” Mama June is unable to control her emotions as she is seen crying in her bedroom while Lauryn “Pumpkin” states to mama June that her hands “are literally turning red”

The description of the episode titled “Mama’s Breakdown” read:

“June has a mental and physical breakdown due to Geno’s cheating and the pressure of the magazine competition; when Geno taunts Mama about her problems, Pumpkin takes charge.”

More on the teaser shows Mama struggling as she walks down the staircase due to her swollen legs. She is also shown bawling at Geno who lends her helping hand as he touched her.

The pair earlier had an altercation in the teaser which ends with Mama experiencing a relapse as she zones out. A producer on the show who tried to revive her is unable to as Mama June is later rushed to the hospital.

Mama June said, while speaking to PEOPLE at another time when she suffered a Health issue:

“It’s been physically and emotionally draining.”

The 39-year-old reality star started to lose the use of her left eye back in 2018. At the time, she explained to PEOPLE magazine that the eye problem resulted from ill-treated cataracts she suffered during childhood as well as retinal detachment.

Mama June had to undergo four different surgeries to save her greatly affected left eye. The reality actor said:

“Losing my independence and having to rely on other people for everything has been crazy. I can’t do anything and have to lay down most of the time and take care of my vision. I have to worry about that right now. That’s my main concern.”

It seems that Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon on her own is working towards leaving Mama June to her relationship problems as the young adult was seen on Twitter showing approval for posts on “toxic relationships.” Pumpkin retweeted the message which read:

“Let’s get out of the habit of telling people ‘ well that’s your mom. That’s still your dad. That’s still your brother. That’s still your sister. TOXIC IS TOXIC. Whether it’s family or NOT. You are allowed to walk away from people who CONSTANTLY hurt you. You are allowed to.”

Another message she retweeted was pointing to being in a relationship where partners are projected to change for the better, which likely never happens.
