On the recent episode of the show hosted by Kelly Ripa, 48, and Ryan Seacrest, 44, the latter informed Ripa that the current “Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown would be a guest on their show later in the week. Ripa responded by sharing her confusion over who the franchise’s new lead was.

She then shared her displeasure about "The Bachelor.” The morning host also chastised her audience members for watching what she described as a “gross” show.

Speaking about the reality dating series she said: “You guys know how I feel about the show — it disgusts me.” Ripa explained her position saying: “I can’t stand the idea of 25 exceptional women fighting over one ordinary fella, in my opinion.”

She continued:

“You know how I feel, ladies — we are too special to be arguing over a guy. Having said that, all of you women watch that gross, gross show.”

In a simple by direct tweet Fleiss mocked Ripa by writing: “Easy, @KellyRipa ... #TheBachelor franchise pays your salary!” ABC also happens to own Ripa’s show with Ryan. Franchise host Chris Harrison also took to Twitter to address Ripa.

The ABC veteran warned Bachelor Nation to “look out” for the “Live” host. Harrison wrote: “Kelly Ripa is coming after you and your ‘disgusting’ Monday night habit.”
