Chrissy Teigen & John Legend's Son Miles Turns 1 (Photos)

It’s party time at the Teigen-Legend’s household, as baby Miles Theodore is celebrating his first birthday. Proud parents Chrissy and John took to Instagram to commemorate the occasion with a pair of love-filled posts that left fans gushing about their family.

Baby Miles turned 1-year-old on May 16, and his parents couldn’t stop gushing about the joy the feisty boy brought to their little family when he joined them and big sister Luna, who was born in 2016.

Legend started off the birthday wishes by posting a picture of his mini-me looking dapper in a cardigan, jeans and a bike-printed bandana. “Our beautiful boy is 1 year old today! We love you, Miles!” John captioned the post.

Teigen followed suit, sharing the cutest pic of Miles enjoying a meal and making a funny expression to the camera with his hands covering his ears.

“I can’t believe I’m 1 today!!!!” Happy birthday to the absolute best baby boy I could ever imagine having,” Chrissy captioned the post.

FANS' REACTIONS

Fans of the couple joined the celebration by leaving their birthday wishes for Miles in their comment section, and most couldn’t help but point out the uncanny resemblance between the boy and his famous father.

“Oh my, that handsome little one looks so much like you, what a sweetie! Happy Birthday, Miles,” wrote one fan on John’s page.

“John!!! You are literally reincarnated!!” another joked.

And a third one raved: “We can’t get enough of Miles! Happy birthday to your little one!”

A BIG PARTY IS ON THE WAY

Chrissy and John were planning to celebrate Miles’ birthday with an unforgettable bash, but it seems like the weather got in the way of their plans, as Teigen revealed on Twitter.

“is it wrong to change your baby's birthday? It's gonna rain tomorrow :( he won't even know right,” the mom of two asked her followers.

One person suggested to have the celebration indoors, but Chrissy revealed the theme wouldn’t be fit saying: “it’s a petting zoo lol.”

CHANGES AFTER MILES' BIRTH

A little over a year ago Teigen announced Miles birth by tweeting: "Somebody’s herrrrrrre!" and three days later, she officially introduced her bundle of joy to social media with an adorable photo of the sleeping baby.

“Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens - We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles. Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!" she captioned the post.

After Miles' birth, Teigen was open about her struggles trying to handle a newborn and a two-year-old while also working on her career and marriage.

In an interview with Good Housekeeping a few months ago, Chrissy revealed that after Miles, she started to deal with anxiety issues.

"At two and a half years old, Luna’s a busybody and I love to be a kid with her, but I also have this little tiny being (Miles) that needs quiet time and nurturing," she started.

And continued:

"Balancing these two things can be really tough, and I try to make sure I have a separate time for both of them. I’m having to face my anxiety more by leaving the house to bring Luna to preschool. Every little bit is making me more comfortable."

Those little things, she said, can be cooking, or enjoying alone time with her husband while sipping a glass of wine. "It’s quiet and peaceful," she said. "And then there's the 45-minute drive to school singing Frozen together, that’s a calming time for me. Honestly, the things that make me happy are so little," she stated.

Chrissy says she has learned a lot from Luna and Miles, and she recently hinted there might be more babies coming in the future. But for now, Miles is still the youngest of the family.
