Aspiring Artist Brutally Assaulted After Trying to Take Photo with Rapper DaBaby
Rapper DaBaby's security team allegedly beat up a fan who was trying to take a photo with his idol.
A shocking video has emerged, showing a fan being brutally beaten by rapper DaBaby's security team outside a nightclub in Lawrence, Massachusetts on May 17, 2019.
The victim of the assault, a 22-year-old man who raps under the name Don Trag, had asked to take a photo with DaBaby, and inadvertently touched one of the bodyguards' hands.
YOUNG RAPPER HOSPITALIZED
Trag was hospitalized the night of his attack but was later released. Hours later, the young man collapsed in his mother's house in Boston.
Trag is now reported to be in hospital in a coma due to a severe concussion caused by the beating he suffered at the "Suge" star's security team's hands.
DABABY WITNESSED ATTACK
DaBaby,27, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, was present during the entire incident, and allegedly watched the young rapper, who was to open for him that night, beaten mercilessly.

DABABY CANCELED SHOW AFTER BEATING
In the aftermath of the incident, DaBaby, who has a contract provision that allows the rapper to pull out of performances if he doesn't feel safe, withdrew and an apology was issued to the fans.
INSTAGRAM USER SHARED FOOTAGE OF INCIDENT
The video clip of the incident, which has gone viral and shows DaBaby looking on as the fan gets struck in the head and body, was shared on Instagram by a fan who also witnessed the attack.
Trag's condition is still considered serious, but there have not been any indications that a complaint has been filed with the Massachusetts Police.
DaBaby's May 17 show at Centro Nightclub in Lawrence, Massachusetts, has been rescheduled and fans who desire it can get a refund on their tickets.
DABABY INVOLVED IN FATAL SHOOTING
The incident in Lawrence Massachusetts comes just 6 months after DaBaby - Jonathan Kirk - was involved in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man in a Walmart in Huntersville, North Carolina.
The dead man, Jalyn Craig, apparently pulled a gun on DaBaby and threatened his life, whereupon the rapper drew his own gun and shot Craig who subsequently died.
DaBaby was later arrested for carrying a concealed gun, but the charge was dismissed.
The rapper was never charged with any other offenses regarding the death of Jalyn Craig.
