Matt Roloff of "Little People, Big World" is a father to four children and a grandparent too. Although he spends a lot of time on the Roloff farm shooting the reality TV show, he also takes out time to be with his family.

Matt recently shared a video of himself and his granddaughter, Ember Jean, on Instagram during a trip to Hawaii. The footage showed the grandfather and the little girl walking on a path that overlooked the beach.

He rode in a scooter and held onto her hand as she walked barefooted beside him. Ember's mother, Audrey Roloff, walked behind the pair with the camera, and her voice sounded in the background as she asked, "Ember, are you walking with Papa?"

The reality star wrote alongside the video:

"All my life, I wanted to do this, and now I hope I live forever."

The video and the words touched Matt's fans, and they described it as "Cute and super sweet" while calling him wonderful and the best grandfather ever.

Ember is the daughter of the reality star's son, Jeremy, Audrey's husband. The young couple was in Hawaii to round off the tour of their book "A Love Letter Life."

When the little girl was three-month-old, she also got to spend time with her dad and grandfather. Matt posted a video of the then-toddler on his Instagram writing,

"How blessed am I? Got to spend time with the beautiful and happy Ember Jean today at lunch."

The "TLC" star shares his four children with his ex-wife, Amy Roloff. They divorced in 2017, and since then, they have both moved on with different people.

Matt is dating their farm manager, Caryn Chandler, while his ex is dating a real estate agent and biker, Chris Marek. The former couple's children took a while to get used to the new man in their mother's life, but eventually warmed up to him.

Despite his children's cold shoulder to their mother's boyfriend, Matt always supported her and according to "CheatSheet," the reality star said he likes Marek and is happy "Amy found the right man for her."

The reality star equally would not mind going on a double date with his ex and her man, but that is likely not going to happen, as the mother-of-four is not a fan of her ex-husband's relationship with Chandler.

Matt is also the grandfather to Jackson, his son — Zachary Roloff's child with his wife Tori — and he is expecting a granddaughter by November. In his words, "The Roloff family is growing again."
