Tia Mowry Flaunts Post-Baby Body in Short Skirt & Boots 13 Months after Childbirth
Tia Mowry is celebrating a new milestone in her post-partum journey, 13 months after giving birth to daughter Cairo Tiahna. The “Sister, Sister” alumni rocked a stylish outfit in a new Instagram pic, as she asked her fans, “should I have another baby?.”
Tia Mowry has been a mom of two for over one year already—she also shares son Cree, 7, with husband Cory Hardrict—and she can’t believe how fast time flies.
The 40-year-old actress and lifestyle vlogger took to Instagram last week to share a mirror photo where she’s rocking a black sweater, short white skirt, and black boots while throwing a peace sign to her reflection.
“Checking in here. Starting to feel more like myself again #13months post-pregnancy,” Tia started her caption. “This is the time where you ask yourself, should I have another baby? It’s crazy how we moms quickly forget. It’s also crazy to believe I’m a mom of two kids lol.”
"Our children have their own minds and thoughts, and I am forever grateful you’ve chosen me to be your mother.”
Mowry continued stating that she’s now getting more sleep and starting to focus on self-care. And added:
“For almost two years, my focus has been on getting pregnant, carrying the baby, and then #breastfeeding. Now it’s time to focus on #me.”
FAN SUPPORT
Fan of the “Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix” star—especially other moms—filled her comment section with words of encouragement.
“Always remember that YOU must take care of YOU! The kids will excel as long as mommy is mentally, physically, and emotionally in tach! You look Amazing by the way! #SelfCare,” wrote one user.
Another asked, “Are you gonna have another? You make such beautiful humans!”
And a third one pointed out:
“I have so much respect and appreciation for you. A lot of women need to know that it’s okay to take your time after having a child or children. The SnapBack ain’t always instant.”
THE END OF A JOURNEY
The new milestone in Tia’s life came after she stopped breastfeeding her daughter, a decision that, according to what she told fans, was taken by the little girl and not her.
“My #breastfeeding journey has come to an end,” Tia explained alongside a black and white pic of her nursing baby Cairo. “#13 months in babygirl. We did well,” she continued.
And added:
“I will never ever forget this experience. It’s bittersweet for me as I would have continued, but you didn’t want to. It’s one of the first lessons in motherhood. We are not in control. Our children have their own minds and thoughts, and I am forever grateful you’ve chosen me to be your mother.”
Although Cairo is already 1-year-old and Tia joked about having another baby, two months ago she vehemently denied the possibility of expanding her family when asked by US Weekly at the opening event of a gallery.
“No! Hell no!” Mowry said. “No! I am done! Done, done, done! For real.
