Thomas Markle, Jr. won a celebrity boxing match and dedicated his triumph to Meghan Markle and his newborn nephew, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.
On June 8, Meghan's estranged half-brother participated in a celebrity boxing match at the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
“It was just obvious from day one that she was destined to be somewhere really big. She’s always been a princess."

The 53-year-old won the match after his scheduled opponent didn’t show up and the stand-in was disqualified for hitting him below the belt.
Talking moments after the victory, Thomas Jr. gushed about the Duchess of Sussex and said he would like to mend fences and meet baby Archie before his first birthday celebration.

"Meghan remember you have a brother and a family in the United States. I am looking forward to seeing you again someday," he said.
Meghan, who tied the knot with Prince Harry in May 2018, has been estranged from her dad's family ever since they started criticizing her in the press.

Ahead of the wedding ceremony, Thomas Jr. wrote an open letter to Harry, imploring him to cancel the nuptials because he believed that Meghan isn't deserving of mating a member of the Royal Family.
He also encouraged the prince to be aware that his sister wasn't who she claimed to be and that she was using her talents as an actress to exploit him.

Thomas Jr. even called the couple's relationship as a "fake fairy tale." He then pointed out that marrying Meghan would result in the "biggest mistake in royal wedding history."
However, Thomas Jr. has since softened his image of Meghan and asked reconciliation with the Markles. According to reports, he also invited the Duchess to his own wedding.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Thomas Jr. said that his sister “has always been a princess.”
“I do have a sense of pride in Meghan being successful,” he explained. “It was just obvious from day one that she was destined to be somewhere really big. She’s always been a princess. She’s carried herself on that level from day one.”
Thomas Jr., who stands at 6’3″, is Meghan's older half-brother from her father, Thomas W. Markle’s, first marriage.
