Chris Pratt Faces Criticism from His Fans for 'Best Day of Our Lives' Wedding Photo
On Sunday, actor Chris Pratt took to social media to share an image of him holding the hand of his new wife and about to kiss her on their wedding day. Part of the caption for his image drew criticism from some followers.
On Saturday, Chris Pratt, 39, married Katherine Schwarzenegger, 29, at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. The pair were married in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family.
The news of their marriage became public knowledge late on Saturday night. Many of their friends and fans were quick to congratulate the couple.

However, as soon as the couple shared an image of their wedding day on their Instagram accounts, a number of fans latched on to a statement Pratt made in his caption. The actor started his post by writing: "Yesterday was the best day of our lives!"
He added that it was the day that he and Schwarzenegger “became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love.” In the post, he also thanked fashion designer Giorgio Armani for making his suit and his wife’s two dresses.

What critic’s had an issue with was the statement that the wedding “was the best day” of his life. Some social media users commented that the best day of his life should be the birth of his son Jack, 6.
Pratt was married before to Anna Faris and they share the little boy. People posted such comments on both of the couple’s comments sections.

In August 2017, Pratt and Faris officially announced that they were legally separating. They then divorced not long afterward and started dating other people.
Faris has been dating Michael Barrett for over a year-and-a-half. Her ex-husband started seeing Schwarzenegger in the summer of 2018.
In January they announced that they were engaged. Their wedding day wasn’t public knowledge and the media couldn’t figure out an exact date until the last second.
Speaking about the couple’s wedding day a source said: “The venue is beautiful. Lots of flowers and greenery everywhere. It’s a very romantic setting for a wedding.” The insider added: “The whole family took wedding photos, including her parents Maria [Shriver] and Arnold [Schwarzenegger]. Everyone just looked so happy.”
Jack was also at the wedding including Schwarzenegger’s brother’s Patrick and Christopher and her sister Christina, who was the maid of honor.
