Bradley Cooper Reportedly Has an ‘Overwhelming Connection’ to Lady Gaga Amid Irina Shayk Split
There is no smoke without fire! Bradley Cooper's feelings for Lady Gaga reportedly goes beyond friendship, and it runs much deeper than expected.
The moment the movie "A Star Is Born" premiered and fans saw the chemistry between Bradley Cooper and his co-star, Lady Gaga, the speculation that there was more than friendship between the two started.
Their Oscar-winning performance during the Academy Awards added more fuel to an already blazing fire, and now, days after the actor's split from his girlfriend, Irina Shayk, a source in the entertainment scene revealed just how deep the chemistry is on Cooper's side.
The source told People that the Oscar-winning actor has an "Overwhelming connection" to Lady Gaga, but added it is too soon to determine if it will result in a love story.
The source equally said that the rumors of an affair between the co-stars and the times the "Hangover" actor spent away from Shayk and their 2-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine, added to the reasons the former couple broke-up.
Although news of their breakup recently made headlines, according to People, the co-parents have lived apart for a while as they are both in different points in their lives. The actor is focused on his career and in taking advantage of the opportunities coming his way, while his supermodel ex-girlfriend, wants her life to remain private away from all the publicity Cooper enjoys.
Despite this, a second source told People that after promoting "A Star Is Born" and at the end of the award season, the father-of-one focused on his family, making them his priority. Cooper and Shayk were together for four years, and their life together was closely guarded.
They barely spoke about it on social media and during interviews, but during the "American Hustle" star's acceptance speech for Best Music for "Shallow" at the BAFTA Awards, he thanked the model for putting up with him when he turned their basement into a studio.
The song equally won "Best Composition" at the Academy Awards, and apart from the co-star's performance on the Oscars stage, Cooper and Gaga performed together at her concert in Las Vegas.
So far, neither of the two has commented on the actor's split from Shayk, but Gaga once defended the chemistry between her and the actor saying since "Shallow" is a love song, they intended for their fans to see "Love" between them.
If this is one of those cases when make-belief becomes a reality, it is yet to be seen or maybe just like the unnamed source said, "It is still premature."
