Lady Gaga Kisses Married Friend Brian Newman on Stage after Splitting from Her Fiancé Christian Carino

Lady Gaga shared a sultry kiss with Brian Newman, a married friend, and trumpet player, whom she often collaborates with, in Las Vegas.

Lady Gaga hit the Las Vegas stage on Saturday for her “Enigma” residency concert, which included a controversial kiss with her longtime married friend, Brian Newman. Although the news may come as a shock, the singer only leaned in for a kiss to make her lyrics come to life.

The video shared on Twitter showed Lady Gaga singing the line, “Darling, kiss me,” before locking lips with Newman and getting the crowd to go wild.

The two had formed a bond before the “Shallow” singer became a sensation; in fact, Lady Gaga is the godmother of the jazz musician’s child with wife Angie Pontani.

“One night after she made her first hit record, she came to see us in TriBeCa. We ended up playing ‘Someone to Watch Over Me’ together, and it was the start of a beautiful musical friendship,” he told Forbes. “She’s just a great musician and a great person. The godmother to my child and a beautiful human being.”

The short intimacy was the 33-year-old’s first PDA after breaking up with her ex-fiance, Christian Carino, because of a rumored romance with her “A Star is Born” lover, Bradley Cooper, who also recently separated with his wife, Irina Shayk.

Lady Gaga and Carino’s relationship was confirmed by Entertainment Tonight in February 2017, after photos of the two surfaced. The two were spotted out more often since, even attending the Interscope Records Grammys afterparty together.

In September, she spoke about him with Page Six, gushing over being in love and being caught after falling for them. Lady Gaga started wearing a ring in November, which raised speculations about the couples secret engagement.
