'Chicago Fire' Fans Counting down the Days as New Season’s Premiere Date Is Finally Revealed

NBC released the premiere date of the popular series, "Chicago Fire," and fans have begun counting down. Most lovers of the show can’t seem to wait for the September 25th release date.

Monday happened to be a day full of announcements for NBC Network, as they announced the premiere dates for the new seasons of the Chicago Universe series. The announcement stated that new episodes of "Chicago Fire," "Chicago Med," and "Chicago P.D" would begin airing on the 25th of September.

Ecstatic fans took to social media to express their eagerness for the start of the new seasons. Worthy of note were the fans of "Chicago Fire," who began their 100-day countdown to the premiere date.

Many fans took to Twitter to express their joy at the release dates, while others were seemingly impatient. A particular fan tweeted that 100 days was too long and wished that it was already September 2019.

Other fans echoed their sentiments and said they would be counting down to the D-day. With the return of the Chicago universe series, Wednesday nights would be eventful for NBC Network faithfuls.

CHICAGO FIRE’S CORE CAST WILL REMAIN

While "Chicago Med" and "Chicago P.D" will see additions and subtractions to their core cast, that of "Chicago Fire" will remain intact for the upcoming season. Major acts, Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney, signed new contracts in April, while other members of the cast will turn up for season 8.

NBC didn’t only announce the premiere dates of the Chicago Universe series; it also announced the premiere dates of new and returning series under its network including "The Voice," whose 17th Season would begin airing from September 23.

Other series such as "Perfect Harmony," "This is Us," "New Amsterdam" and others also had their premiere dates announced.
