Tori Spelling’s Oldest Child Liam Graduates Elementary School (Photos)

The mother-of-five celebrated her oldest child milestone by taking to social media to gush about the young man the 12-year-old has grown to be since starting school, sharing photos of the big day.

46-year-old actress Tori Spelling is, first of all, a devoted mother, and she uses her social media to constantly remind us of how important her family is to her, so she wouldn’t let her son Liam’s graduation go unnoticed.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” star took to Instagram on June 15 to share a slideshow of pictures from the teenage boy’s Elementary School graduation, which she captioned with lovely proud-mother words.

PROUD MOTHER

“One of the proudest days of my life as a mom this past week... graduation!

My first baby @liamaaronmcdermott2724graduated from elementary school. He said goodbye to 6th grade and his school,” Spelling wrote in the caption.

“His speech blew everyone away. He started at this school as a tiny little blonde babe and has grown into a kind, clever, smart, resilient, driven, funny, and amazing young man,” she went on.

“So proud of his journey and can’t wait to watch him as he continues to blossom and move thru the next chapter of his life. I love you so much monkey and you make me proud every day with the unbelievable human that you are!” she added.

In the first snapshot, Spelling and her Canadian-American husband of 13 years 52-year-old Dean McDermott were captured standing to each side of their son, who is holding his diploma with a smile of achievement.

A married couple since 2006, Tori and Dean’s relationship hasn’t been free from controversy, with an affair between the latter and then 28-year-old Emily Goodhand surfacing in 2013.

LIAM’S SIBLINGS

Liam looked great and so grown up, wearing a dark grey suit over a flowered black shirt, posing by himself in the second image. In the third photo, Liam was joined by his two sisters Stella (11) and Hattie (7) and his brother Finn (6).

The youngest member of the family, 2-year-old Beau, apparently stayed at home that day, as he is not seen in any of the images.

FANS REACT

The comments section of Spelling’s post was flooded by congratulatory messages for both Liam and his famous mother.

“Oh wow. Congrats!!! How do you not have mascara running down your face in these photos?” a fan wondered. “I remember when he was a little baby on ‘Tori and Dean’,” said another person, referencing the family’s reality TV show.

“You and Dean have been such amazing parents that have always been hands-on with all your children and it certainly shows in how great Liam has progressed as a young boy,” another commenter started.

“Hats off to both of you for being what a child needs in life to be who he is today. God Bless you all,” the same person concluded.

HER THOUGHTS ON MONOGAMY

A married couple since 2006, Tori and Dean’s relationship hasn’t been free from controversy, with an affair between the latter and then 28-year-old Emily Goodhand surfacing in 2013.

Fortunately, the husband and wife managed to overcome this difficult situation, and now Tori can look back with another perspective, as she recently showed during the June 17 episode of her husband’s “Daddy Issues” podcast.

“The reality is you’re two people. I feel like humans, instinctually, it’s really hard to be monogamous because you’re always changing,” she said.

“And if you’re not on the same page, you have to try to change again, and evolve and be on the same page,” she added.
