Lara Spencer Celebrates 50th Birthday with Her 'Good Morning America' Family

It's been two decades since Spencer has been part of the GMA family and of course, they all had an emotional and special moment celebrating.

Not every day you have the opportunity to turn 50 years old and even less to celebrate with people who have spent almost half of that time with you. However, Lara Spencer is fortunate to have enjoyed the love of her companions a day earlier.

Yes, Lara was surprised by her Good Morning America classmates, Robin Roberts, Ginger Zee, Amy Robach and David Muir, with a cake and a serenade. Very early they sang and blew out the candles since Lara had commented that on her birthday she would not attend.

In her Instagram account, we can see the images shared by Lara of the special moment she lived with her companions and in the publication that accompanies the photos, she comments that she appreciates the attention and affection. She also reiterates that she will be sharing this special date with her family.

“What a way to kick off the last day of my forties!!!” Spencer shared the best moments in a video on Instagram. “I started as a correspondent for Good Morning America when I was 28. This family has seen me thru the ups, downs, and all around of 2 full decades.”

“Thank you GMA FAMILY for so many laughs and smiles,” she continued. “I will be off tomorrow to celebrate the big 5-0hhhYEAH with my family. See you Thursday! xo, Lara.”

This reminds us of the beautiful photos that Spencer shared on the occasion of their wedding last year. She married Rick McVey, who is an entrepreneur and with whom she had three years of relationship. They looked simply gorgeous and filled with joy on their most special day.

The couple said 'yes I accept' in front of 135 friends and family members at a beautiful ceremony in Vail, Colorado. Where Lara wore a beautiful and sensual dress by designer Adam Zohar, with transparencies and a mermaid cut. Spencer reached the altar on the arm of her son Duff.

And three days later the happy couple showed up at the US Open Tennis tournament, where there was no shortage of love shows expressed by each other. we wish the best to her, who has two teenage children and he has 3 daughters with his ex-wife . This is the second wedding for both.
