Keshia Knight Pulliam and her daughter are a ray of sunshine in their latest photo. Mother and child are all smiles and Keshia teases why.

There’s no doubt Keshia Knight Pulliam is in high spirits lately. Proof of this is in her sunny photo with her daughter, Ella and we might have an idea why.

SHE WON CUSTODY OF ELLA

Keshia has been raising Ella primarily since she won the custody battle against her child’s father, Ed Hartwell. As a result of the case, Ed, who was briefly married to Keshia from January to July 2016, was also required to pay child support to the star in conjunction with his visitation rights.

Keisha accused Ed of cheating on her with his current wife, Tonya Carroll. Keisha believes Ed was already seeing Tonya while married to her.

SHE WAS RIGHT

Keisha and Ed’s relationship went for the worse after Ed accused Keisha of cheating on him. He even requested for a DNA test on Ella which proved he was really the girl’s father.

Likewise, Keisha accused Ed of cheating on her with his current wife, Tonya Carroll. Keisha believes Ed was already seeing Tonya while married to her. They now have a daughter.

The court’s decision to grant primary custody to Keisha didn’t sit well with Ed so he tried to file an appeal. However, the judge also denied his motion for reconsideration.

SOMETHING DELIGHTFUL IS IN STORE FOR FANS

While this bit of news is cause for Keisha’s joy, her latest snap also reveals another reason. The photo she shared on her Instagram seems to hint at something in store for fans of the mother and daughter.

In the pic, Keisha, dressed in yellow, beams with happiness as she plays with her two-year-old who smiles back at her. The candid moment reveals the special bond between the two which Keisha captions, “Mommy & Ella... coming soon!!@essence.”

That being said, it’s possible the photo is part of a shoot for an upcoming feature on Essence. That’s definitely good news for fans.

While this is a one-of-a-kind photo for the mother and daughter, this is not the first time they’re delighting fans with their gorgeous smiles. On Mother’s Day, Keisha shared a lovely selfie of them proving they don’t only share identical smiles but faces too. What a beautiful family they make.
