Watch Tichina Arnold & Daughter's Carpool Karaoke as They Sing Jill Scott's 'The Way'

Tichina Arnold and her teenage daughter both have exceptional vocal talents. Take a listen to their recent impromptu singing shared on social media.

Tichina Arnold, best known for her work on "Martin" and "Everybody Hates Chris," is raising her daughter Alijah Kai, 15, to take on the entertainment industry by storm.

Based on a recent video though, she won't have much to do. The two sang together and it was clear that Alijah has already got the pipes to back up her big personality.

Sitting in her mother's ride, Alijah sang Jill Scott's "The Way." Tichina backed her up and cheered her on melodiously. When she was apparently done with the chorus, the actress encouraged her daughter to do some freestyle.

Alijah laughed it off at first, then did some smooth freestyle before she stopped. Her voice was just as soulful as her mom's. She also displayed a great range of her abilities.

Tichina has been sharing such impressive clips of her daughter singing for years now. Back in 2017, the mother-daughter duo rocked out to Beyonce's "Party" while looking for a parking spot for school.

That time, Tichina mostly took over the spotlight as her daughter attempted to enjoy the song. She wrote, “When you take over a song your kid is singing then can’t find a parking spot. Lmao! You ask…we give.”

The adorable pair share other inspiring activities together, such as attending the Soul Train Awards in November 2018. Tichina hosted the event alongside former "Martin" co-star Tisha Campbell.

When the performances were over, Alijah was invited onstage for a short interview. She also gave the audience a taste of her amazing singing skills. The performance was reminiscent of her mother's own capabilities.

Back when she acted on "Martin," Tichina would start singing at the drop of a hat. Now 49, it looks like she hasn't lost her knack for it. As a twice-divorced woman, there's no slowing her roll.

The vibrancy and motherly nature of her personality are shared by her daughter, too. In another video of the teen singing, Alijah serenaded her mother's nephew with Ariana Grande's "Almost Is Never Enough."

In the caption, Tichina wrote, "Making sure my baby serenades our new baby. I think my nephew likes it. Lol! Enjoy. More to come..." The tiny tot stared sweetly up at Alijah as she sang.

Alijah is Tichina's only child whom she shares with Calvin Haggins. While she allows her daughter to thrive, Tichina stars on the comedy show "The Neighborhood" with Cedric the Entertainer and Max Greenfield.
