Tamar Braxton's Ex Vince Herbert Allegedly Accused of Refusing to Pay $380k Debt

Tamar Braxton’s estranged husband Vince Herbert faces charges of contempt of court.

While Tamar Braxton’s professional and personal life is blossoming, her estranged husband Vincent Herbert is facing serious legal and financial problems.

The successful record producer has defaulted on a court order to pay a $380,000 debt to LDNX Records.

VINCENT HERBERT ACCUSED OF HIDING ASSETS

LDNX Records has been trying to collect the $380,000 since they won a judgment against Herbert in 2017.

The music company is now trying to locate Herbert's assets so they can make good on the payment ordered by the court.

He also owes Sony Music $3,7 million on a separate lawsuit.

LDNX ISSUES SUBPOENAS FOR ICONIC ENTERTAINERS

In order to trace Herbert's financials, LDNX's lawyers issued subpoenas to Lady Gaga and Remy Ma.

When the stars did not comply and release their financial records pertaining to their business dealings with Herbert, LDNX asked the Judge to hold the women in contempt of court.

REMY MA HELD IN CONTEMPT OF COURT

Although Lady Gaga eventually complied, Remy Ma held out and was cited for contempt of court.

The rapper was ordered to hand over the documents or face dire consequences. It was thanks to those documents that LDNX's lawyers were able to identify a Wells Fargo bank account belonging to Herbert.

But LDNX is not the worse of Herbert's problems. He also owes Sony Music $3,7 million on a separate lawsuit.

LDNX appealed to the court to prevent Herbert from transferring his assets to his Streamline Records label to put them out of reach of his creditors.

Since Tamar's divorce from Herbert is not yet final, it is to be hoped that her own assets will not be affected by the music producer's downfall.

Tamar Braxton's boyfriend, Nigerian businessman David Adefeso has come out in defense of his harried love.

Fans were upset with Tamar over her reaction to her sister Trina's engagement.

Tamar was angered and made an unfortunate scene when Trina's boyfriend Von Scales, unexpectedly popped the question during Tamar's birthday dinner.

David stood by his woman and blamed the abuse Tamar had been subjected to all her life for her sometimes fractious behavior.

“When I met my @tamarbraxton 12 months ago she was angry, distraught and almost-completely broken. She’d lost her family, her friends, her job and was estranged from her mom and sisters who she loves so much," he wrote.

Then David threw shade on Vincent Herbert in a big way by writing:

“While her behavior was a significant cause of these misfortunes, it took me a while to recognize that there were other equally valid causes, including being repeatedly assaulted by men in her life she trusted (first physically as a child, then emotionally later on in life by deeply aggressive and utterly controlling romantic relationships)."

That must have stung Herbert, especially since Tamar has now launched an organization Braxton No Need TB Shame, to help others who have gone through sexual and emotional abuse.
