Josiah and Lauren Duggar Celebrate 1-Year Anniversary by Posting Beautiful Wedding Photos

Josiah and Lauren Duggar are already one year into their marriage. They celebrated with some pictures of their ceremony from last year.

The "Counting On" stars shared wedding pictures as they honored their one-year anniversary on June 30, 2019. Although fans have seen the pictures before, the post was a sweet reminder of the joy shared between the couple on their special day.

Through their shared Instagram account, the couple posted four pictures from last year. Two were taken outside, one at the altar, and there was also a greyscale photo.

In the caption was written:

“Can’t believe it’s already been a year since we said ‘I do,’ I remember the big day and just how excited we both were about getting married. Ohh the memories!”

The two went on to say that what they've been through so far is more than "any newly married couple should ever have [to go through]," but they wouldn't have it any other way.

"Looking forward to growing old and more in love with you," it ended. Afterward, the couple gave fans a glimpse of how they spent the day. They shared a picture of a legless picnic table surrounded by cushions.

A second photo showed that the table was set with flowers, candles, and food set on round white plates. "Simple... but romantic," it was captioned. We'd certainly agree.

Josiah and Lauren appear to be a great match, but as pointed out in the anniversary message, they've had to endure a lot as a couple. Back in February, the two revealed that they lost a child through a miscarriage in October 2018.

An emotional Lauren described what happened the day she found out. Then in May, the couple shared the name of their late baby as being Asa. Around the same time, they shared the good news that they were expecting another child.

It was a different story last year when Josiah described his wedding day as being "absolutely perfect" to People magazine. The couple exchanged vows at the John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Lauren's father Dwain Swanson officiated the event. He appeared in one of the pictures shared on Sunday. We wish the Duggar couple a Happy Anniversary and hope for the best with the new pregnancy.
